Each member of the university community has a role to play in stopping the spread of the virus. Please wear your face covering, stay at least six feet away from another person, wash your hands frequently and check in on the P3 app before the beginning of each day on campus.

FIU has a contact tracing team that works to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the university community. The team interviews students and employees who test positive for COVID-19 following an established protocol.  Subsequently, contact is made with individual(s) identified as having been in close contact with the COVID-19-positive person and are advised to obtain a COVID-19 test and quarantine themselves. The team also will contact the Facilities Department to clean and disinfect any affected buildings. Learn more in the Personal Responsibility section of the Panthers Protecting Panthers site.

If you have questions, or believe you need to get tested, please call the FIU COVID-19 Response Team at 305-348-1919.
